The Qu-Bit Aurora is a stereo spectral reverb that allows for lush reverbs and spectral transformation of incoming audio. It features both a reverb and phase vocoder that allows it to morph and transform your sounds into altogether new entities.
Aurora's reverb time goes from tiny room reflections to infinite reverbs for huge washes. Blur allows you to smear the transients and spectral content of the incoming sound, while warp pitch shifts the signal. Aurora uses a FFT filter that uses spectral bands as its filtering method. Atmosphere adds early reflections to the reverb. Both the time domain and frequency domains can be frozen using the buttons or incoming gate signals, great for sequence-driven reverb freezing and gating-style effects. Use it as an end of chain effect to add space and ambience, or use for a powerful sound design tool capable of spectral transformations.
